Wildclay teapot #3

$188.00

This collection is an expression of my love for Land and celebrates the natural places and space upon which I work, play and rest.

All materials are gathered in small quantities, with intuitive listening, permission, reciprocal offerings, prayers and songs.

The wild and raw materials are turned into painting slips to playfully decorate the exterior surface. Feel grounded as you hold the outside earth in your hands.
The clay body itself is not wild clay.
The inside is lined with a food and drink safe glaze.

Dimensions -
Approx 285cm
W 15cm (with spout)
H 13cm (with handle)
Base 7cm

Care instructions:
To retain the texture and longevity of the wild clays, handwashing is recommended. These are stoneware fired ceramics so they are 100% food safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe.

———
These wild clays and raw materials are colour of Bundjalung Country.
I pay my respects to elders past, present and emerging of the Ngarakbal, Githabul and Minyumbul bloodlines and the surrounding clans of Bundjalung Country and that the sovereignty of all First Nations people on ‘so-called Australia’ has never been ceded.

Our conscious participation in this co-creative dance of elemental life with respect and reverence to those that came before us is the transformation of living in right relationship with all beings.

Thank you for looking!
